Annie Hughes, President

Previous to starting Type A Strategies, Annie was a Vice President of Client Services at Chapman Cubine Adams Hussey, where she honed her skills as an integrated direct marketing strategist. During the 2008 election cycle, Annie served as the National Deputy Director of Operations for the Hillary Clinton for President Campaign and in the 2004 cycle she worked in the Major Gifts department at EMILY's List.

Annie is truly a fundraising “jane of all trades” with a wide range of experience in developing major donor giving programs, cultivating foundations and writing grants, and creating successful events. She also advises her clients on Board development and engagement, organizational best practices, and guides her clients through strategic planning efforts.
